Irish Jockey's Trust supports in particular injured jockeys in finding
new directions in employment. This takes place in the form of referral
to career coaches, training courses, skills development, course
fees and examination fees. |

The
creation of the "Friends of the IJT" network will give
us the opportunity of working with possible employers in finding
employment opportunities for those whom we assist. We recognise
that in the competitive work market of today that it is necessary
to ensure that our applicants have the correct skills to do the
job. It is for that reason that we place so much emphasis on supporting
the provision of suitable training. |
