A constant anxiety of injured jockeys who find that they will not ride again is finding new employment. Many of those known to the Trust state that "racing is all that I know and love. I would love to have any sort of job in the industry".

The newly formed FRIENDS OF THE IRISH JOCKEYS TRUST will give both individuals and businesses in all areas of the racing industry an opportunity to help and support those jockeys most in need as they face the very real challenge of finding meaningful work, when their riding career has come to an end.
